CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS
RUGBY WORLD CUP 2023 HOTEL PARADIS PARIS
Article 1 - Purpose
SNC CARAVELLE (Hôtel Paradis), a simplified joint stock company with capital of 10. 000 euros, registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number B 533 329 058, whose registered office is located at 41 rue des petites écuries, 75010 Paris (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizing Company"), is organizing a free competition with no obligation to purchase (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition"), entitled "Rugby World Cup France 2023 - Paradis Competition" (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition") from 8/09/2023 at 10am to 07/10/2023 12pm via the Google Form platform. The Organizer reserves the right to extend the participation period and to postpone any announced date.
Article 2 - Conditions of participation
2.1 Access to the Game
The Game is open to all natural persons over 18 years of age on the opening date of the Game (hereinafter referred to as the "Participant").
The Game is open only to persons residing or having resided at the Hôtel Paradis between September 8, 2023 and October 8, 2023.
When selecting the winners, SNC CARAVELLE (Hôtel Paradis) reserves the right to ask any Participant to provide proof of these conditions. Any person who does not meet these conditions or refuses to justify them will be excluded from the Game and, in the event of winning, will not be entitled to the prize. Similarly, any false declaration, indication of identity or address will result in the immediate elimination of the Participant.
All persons directly or indirectly involved in the design and development of the Game, as well as all other persons related to an employee of the Organizing Body, may not participate in the Game.
2.2 Terms and conditions
The Participant may enter the Contest only once (same first and last name).
In the event of multiple entries by the same person, only one entry will be validated. The Organizing Body reserves the right to make all necessary checks regarding the identity, age and e-mail address of Participants.
Any registration based on erroneous, inaccurate, incomplete or fraudulent information will not be taken into account and will render participation in the Contest null and void.
For this competition, a winner will be drawn at random by the Organizing Body, from among the users who have given the correct answer in the form. Participation in the Contest is exclusively via the online form. Entries by telephone, fax, post or e-mail will not be accepted. Participation in the Game implies full acceptance of the present rules, in all their provisions, of the rules of deontology in force on the Internet, and of the laws and regulations applicable to free games. Participation in the "Game" may be made only once per person.
Article 3 - How to enter and how the game runs
To take part in the Game, Participants must complete the following steps:

The Participant must complete all mandatory fields in the form in order to validate his/her participation. If a Participant is found to be committing or attempting to commit fraud, he or she may be formally and permanently banned from taking part in the Game.
Play the Game.
Accept the rules of the game in order to be eligible for the draw.
Participants certify that the contact details sent to the Organizing Body as part of their participation in the Game are accurate. They are also informed that the information they are asked to provide is necessary for their participation in the Game to be taken into account and for the prize to be awarded. Participants are therefore invited to check the validity of this information.Any false, erroneous or incomplete declaration will automatically result in the cancellation of entries and the non-award of the prize, which will remain the full and complete property of the Organizing Body.
Article 4 - Respect for the integrity of the Game
Participants shall refrain from implementing or seeking to implement any unfair participation process or any fraudulent behavior that does not strictly comply with the principles of the Game and the Rules, and that would hinder the smooth running of the Game.
Failure to comply with the Rules will result in the Participant's disqualification, without this giving rise to any dispute whatsoever. The Organizing Body also reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who alters the operation of the Game or violates the official rules of the Game.
The Organizing Body reserves the right to prosecute anyone attempting to defraud or interfere with the proper running of the Game. The Organizing Body reserves the right to carry out any and all checks in connection with the application of the Rules.
The Organizing Body reserves the right to extend, shorten, modify or cancel the Game at any time due to events beyond its control, without prior notice or compensation for any moral or financial damage to Participants.
If, for any reason whatsoever, the Game should not run as planned due to, for example, a computer virus, a bug, an intervention or an external and unauthorized intrusion on the computer system, fraud, a technical failure or any other reason beyond the control of the Organizing Company.
Article 5 - Agreement of proof
It is agreed that, except in the case of manifest error, the Organizing Body may take advantage, in particular for the purposes of proof of any act, fact or omission, of programs, data, files, recordings, operations and other elements (such as monitoring reports or other statements) of nature or in computer or electronic formats or media, established, gathered or stored directly or indirectly by the Organizing Body, in particular in its information systems. Thus, the elements considered constitute proof and, if they are produced as means of proof by the Organizing Body in any litigation or other proceedings, they will be admissible, valid and opposable between the parties in the same way, under the same conditions and with the same probative force as any document that would be established, gathered or kept in writing.
Article 6 - Prizes
The following prizes will be awarded for each match date during the game period:
- 2 Paradis local beers, each worth €5 incl. tax.
- 2 breakfasts, each worth €17 incl. tax.
Excluding breakfasts already paid for, which can be converted into a non-exchangeable, non-refundable gift voucher. Subject to availability, excluding trade fair periods & dates of restrictions, and within 3 months of announcement to the winner.
A draw will be organized at the end of each match during the duration of the game. The winner will receive an e-mail from the organizing company or the Ginto Hotels marketing department announcing his/her win and asking for his/her contact details (first and last name). The winner may request his/her prize from SNC CARAVELLE (Hôtel Paradis) by providing his/her first and last name and date of stay.
The prize offered is nominative. In the event that the winner (hereinafter the "Winner") does not wish, or is unable, for any reason whatsoever, to benefit from all or part of the prize won, under the conditions set out in the Regulations, he/she will lose the full benefit of said prize and will not be entitled to claim any compensation whatsoever. The prize will not be put back into play and the Organizing Body will be free to dispose of it.

In the event that the winner (hereinafter the "Winner") does not wish, or is unable, for any reason whatsoever, to benefit from all or part of the prize won, under the conditions set out in the Rules, he/she shall lose the full benefit of said prize and shall not be entitled to claim any compensation whatsoever. The prize will not be put back into play and the Organizing Body will be free to dispose of it.
The Organizing Body reserves the right to replace any prize with a prize of equivalent value, particularly in the event of unavailability of the prize initially planned. From the moment the prize is sent by the Organizing Body, the latter cannot be held responsible for any subsequent cancellation by the Winner for any reason whatsoever.
Article 7 - Taking possession of the prize
Each Participant who has won a prize will be notified by e-mail. He/she must provide additional information to the Organizing Body so that it can send him/her the prize by post or by e-mail.
As part of the dispatch or delivery of the prize, the Organizing Body reserves the right to carry out any checks it deems necessary on each Winner. In order to do so, it may request, prior to awarding the prize, the presentation of supporting documents enabling the Winner to be identified (supporting documents: copy of identity card or passport).
The Organizing Body will not be held responsible if the entry information is incomplete, illegible, unusable, incorrectly addressed or erroneous, and the Winner will then lose the benefit of his/her prize.
Any prize not claimed within 3 months after the closing date of the Contest will be considered abandoned by the Winner and will not be put back into play by the Organizing Body, which will retain full and complete ownership thereof.
Each Participant who has won a prize will be notified by e-mail. The Participant must provide additional information to the Organizing Body in order to receive the prize.
In addition, any prize returned to the Organizing Body for any reason whatsoever, such as not living at the address indicated, will be deemed to have been abandoned by the Winner and will not be put back into play by the Organizing Body, which is under no obligation to make any further enquiries in order to find the Winner.
Article 8 - Liability

The Organizing Body may not be held liable in the event that one or more Participants are unable to connect to the https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1PgqRormc1SjoYKvXijBiqpxZS_RZmrFbzxQTLJEE7eY/edit site due to any technical fault or problem related to, but not limited to:
- Network congestion,
- Human or electrical error,
- Any malicious intervention,
- The telephone connection,
- Hardware or software,
- Software or hardware malfunctions,
- Force majeure,
- Disruptions that could affect the smooth running of the Game.
The Organizing Body may not be held liable if the data relating to a Participant's registration does not reach it for any reason for which it cannot be held responsible (for example, an Internet connection problem due to whatever reason on the part of the user, a momentary failure of the Internet server for any reason whatsoever, etc.) or arrives illegible or impossible to process (for example, if the Participant has inadequate computer hardware or software environment for registration, etc.).
The Organizing Body declines all responsibility for any incidents or accidents that may occur to the Winner during the use and/or enjoyment of the prizes, as well as for any fraudulent or improper use of the prizes or even trading in the prizes by the Winners.
More generally, the Organizing Body may not be held liable for any prejudice (personal, physical, material, financial or other) arising from participation in the Contest or use of the prize. Participation in the Game implies acceptance of this condition, and no claim will be accepted in this respect.
Article 9 - Correspondence
All requests, questions or complaints relating to the Game and its organization must be sent exclusively by post to the following address:

No telephone request of any kind whatsoever concerning the Game, its execution or the application of the Rules will be entertained.
The Organizing Body undertakes to deal with any dispute or claim relating to the Game or the Rules within a maximum period of two months from receipt. No claim or dispute will be accepted after a period of two months has elapsed from the award of the last prize.
Article 10 - Modification
The Organizing Body shall not be held responsible if, in the event of force majeure or events beyond its control such as the consequences of the Covid 19 pandemic, the Game is cancelled, postponed, suspended, modified or shortened.
In all cases, it reserves the right to extend the participation period, and to postpone any announced date and/or time. Additions and modifications to the Rules may be published during the Game. They will be considered as amendments to the Rules. Any changes will be notified in advance by any appropriate means. They will come into force as soon as they are published.
The Participant is deemed to have accepted these modifications simply by participating in the Game from the date on which the modification comes into force.
The Organizing Body may cancel all or part of the Game if it appears that fraud has been committed in any form whatsoever, in particular by computer, in connection with participation in the Game. In such an event, the Organizing Body reserves the right not to award the prize(s) to the fraudsters, to recover the prize(s) in the event of discovery of the fraud after they have been awarded and/or to prosecute the perpetrators and/or accomplices of such fraud before the competent courts.
The Organizing Body reserves the right to stop or suspend the Game in any case where, for any reason whatsoever, the computer system awards prizes not provided for in the Rules. In this case, messages informing Participants of a prize will be considered null and void. Under no circumstances may the number of prizes exceed that provided for in the Regulations.
Article 11 - Disputes
Participating in the Game and ticking the box accepting the Rules during the identification process implies unreserved acceptance of the Rules in their entirety.
The Rules and their interpretation are subject to French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably concerning the interpretation or execution of the Rules shall be submitted to the competent French courts.
Article 12 - Personal data
In the context of the Game, and in accordance with regulations on the protection of personal data, Hôtel Paradis Paris, as the data controller, processes the personal data of Participants for the following purposes:
Participation in the Game, management of the Game and determination of the Winner, in accordance with the contract, i.e. the present Game Rules accepted by the Participant
Sending commercial and marketing prospecting, subject to the Participants' consent.
Personal data is kept for the duration of the Game, and will then be deleted or anonymized within six (6) months of the last prize being awarded.
The personal data collected are those requested on the Game entry form (surname, first name, e-mail).
In order to carry out the above-mentioned processing(s), the personal data collected will be communicated to the following recipients only: the persons in charge of organizing the Game within the Organizing Body, the technical service provider in charge of organizing the Game.
The Organizing Body may also transmit the personal data of Participants in the event of receipt of a request from a judicial authority or any administrative authority empowered by law requesting the communication of such information in accordance with the legislative provisions in force.
In accordance with current regulations in force, the Participant has the right to access, rectify and delete his or her personal data, as well as post-mortem directives, and may also request the limitation of processing. To exercise his or her rights and to question the Organizing Body about the processing of his or her personal data, he or she may contact :

If, after having contacted the Organizing Company, he/she considers that his/her rights have not been respected, he/she may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Article 13: Language, filing, version and modification of the Regulations
Only the French version of these Rules is authentic. Any version other than the French version constitutes only a translation of comfort.
